RoboCup-2011 is the 15th International RoboCup event which will bring together researchers working in a variety of different aspects of multiagent and multirobot systems as the Cerberus team have experienced in RoboCup-2001 held in Seattle USA, RoboCup-2002 in Fukuoka Japan, RoboCup-2003 in Padova Italy, RoboCup-2005 in Osaka, Japan, RoboCup-2006 in Bremen Germany, RoboCup 2007 in Atlanta USA, RoboCup 2008 in Suzhou China, RoboCup 2009 in Graz Austria, and RoboCup 2010 in Singapore.

From the very beginning, Cerberus has chosen to develop all the components of the software to form the basis for a more general robotics research rather than to be used for soccer only. Through the years, the members of the team have done many PhD and MS Thesis studies related to SPL and published more than 50 papers in journals and international conferences, including the RoboCup Symposia.
