Who am I?
I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University, Turkey. For more information, you might want to check out my resume.
I got my MSCS degree from the Department of Computer Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, and my BS degree from the Department of Computer Engineering at Marmara University, Turkey.
What do I do?
- I am one of the core members of the Organizing Committee of the RoboCup 2011 event, which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey.
- I am the local chair of the Organizing Committee of the Standard Platform League of RoboCup 2011.
- I am also one of the Technical Committee members of the Standard Platform League of RoboCup 2011.
- I am a member of the Program Committee of SIMPAR 2010: 2nd International Conference on Simulation, Modeling and Programming for Autonomous Robots.

Awards and honors
- Best reviewer award in Computer Science Student Workshop 2010 (CSW'10).
- Best research paper award in Computer Science Student Workshop 2010 (CSW'10).
- Completed undergraduate study with the second highest GPA and holding a high-honors degree.
- First place in RoboCup'05 4-Legged League Technical Challenges as a member of team Cerberus.
Past memberships and responsibilities
- I had been a member of Cerberus, the RoboCup Standard Platform League Team of Boğaziçi University and the winner of the technical challenges in RoboCup'05. I was the captain of the team from 2007 to 2010.
- I was a member of the Technical Committee of the RoboCup 2010 Standard Platform League.
- I was a member of the Program Committee of the 14th RoboCup International Symposium 2010, which took place in Singapore from June 19 to June 25, 2010.
- I was also a member of the SPL Organizing Committee of the RoboCup Mediterranean Open 2010 event, which was held in Rome, Italy.
- I was one of the workshop chairs of the Computer Science Student Workshop 2010 (CSW'10).
- I was the TA of the CmpE 49A - Introduction to Robotics course, taught by Prof. Levent Akın, in Fall 2009.
- I was a member of the Local Organizing Committee of CLAWAR 2009.
- I was a member of the Technical Committee of the RoboCup 2009 Standard Platform League.
- I was a member of the Program Committee of the 13th RoboCup International Symposium 2009, which took place in Graz, Austria from June 30 to July 3, 2009.
- I was a member of LARG (Learning Agents Research Group) led by Dr. Peter Stone.
- I was also a member of Austin Robot Technology & UT Austin DARPA Urban Challenge Team.
- I worked in the robot soccer lab as a member of the UT Austin Villa team when I was pursuing my masters at UTCS.
- I also TA-ed CS378 - Autonomous Vehicles: Driving in Traffic class taught by Dr. Peter Stone during Spring'07.
- I was a TA for CS307 - Foundations of Computer Science class taught by Mike Scott during Fall'06 at UTCS.
